Pecan Cobbler with Pecan Butter Whipped Topping (by the First Lady Of Georgia)

You guys have asked and we’re here to deliver! We’ve got the First Lady of Georgia’s Pecan Cobbler with Pecan Butter Whipped Cream for you!

Cobbler:

Goodson Pecans Honey Cinnamon Pecan Butter

Ingredients — 

  • 6 T butter

  • 2 C pecans

  • 1 t cinnamon, split

  • 1 ½ C self-rising flour

  • 1 ½ C granulated sugar

  • ⅔ milk 

  • 1 t vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ C packed light brown sugar

  • 1 ½ C hot water

Prepare —

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Add butter to a 9x13 inch cake pan or casserole dish and melt in oven. Once butter is melted sprinkle pecans over butter

  • In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, milk and vanilla. Stir to combine but do not over-mix

  • Pour batter over butter and pecans; do not mix

  • Combine brown sugar with ½ teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over batter, do not stir.

  • Carefully pour the hot water over the mixture, do not stir. 

  • Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cobbler will not be firm.

Pecan Butter Whipped Cream

Ingredients — 

  • ½ C heavy cream

  • 2 T pecan butter

  • ½ t vanilla extract

Prepare —

  • whip all ingredients together until firm peaks form
